Students from the Zimbabwe Institute of Diplomacy (ZID), enrolled in the Executive Certificate in Diplomacy, Protocol, Etiquette and Professional Branding  5-Day Face-to-Face Programme, recently attended a diplomatic event hosted by the Embassy of Malaysia in Harare.

The event, themed “A Taste of Malaysia”, celebrated Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage, cuisine and traditions. It provided students with valuable first-hand exposure to the practical application of protocol, etiquette and diplomatic engagement.

Participants had the opportunity to interact with diplomats, government officials and representatives from various organisations, bridging the gap between theoretical learning and real-world diplomatic practice.

ZID continues to champion experiential learning as a key component of its training. Through such events, students enhance their cultural intelligence, networking abilities and professional confidence.
